The pharmacist module includes an additional panel that enables dispensing the investigational product to the patient. Upon patient randomization, the blinded pharmacist receives an SMS notification with this information and can then proceed to prepare the medication for the patient. The system records which medication was assigned to the patient, and the pharmacist can enter details such as the product’s expiration date, batch number, and the visit during which the investigational product is dispensed.
The module allows the pharmacist to record the dispensing of medication to the patient in real time or by specifying a particular date and time. The user enters details about the medication, such as batch number, expiration date, and association with a specific patient visit. The system ensures full control over the medication dispensing history.
